Locations Partner Chad Takesue Installed as 2022 President of the Honolulu Board of Realtors®

Locations Partner Chad Takesue was installed as the 2022 president of the Honolulu Board of Realtors® Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at the Board’s annual membership meeting in Waikiki. As 2022 president, Chad will work with the Board’s staff and volunteer leaders to develop its strategy and goals for the coming year. With 7,000 members, the Honolulu Board of Realtors® is the largest trade organization on Oahu and one of the largest Realtor® boards in the nation.

“Chad has a long history of service to Hawaii’s real estate industry. His vast experience, proven leadership skills and passion for the profession make him a natural fit to lead the Board and all Oahu Realtors® in 2022,” said President and CEO of Locations George Santoki.

Chad joined Locations in 2005 as a full-time agent and has held various roles in the organization, including Managing Partner, Senior Vice President of Sales and Senior Vice President of Property Management. He earned his real estate broker’s license in 2008 and was made a partner in the firm in 2012. He is also a past president of the Locations Foundation, the non-profit arm of Locations, and currently serves on the Foundation’s executive board. He has also served in various volunteer leadership roles at the Hawaii Association of Realtors® and the Honolulu Board of Realtors®.

A graduate of Iolani School, Chad holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Puget Sound and a Master of Business Administration from the Shidler College of Business at the University Hawaii at Manoa.
